I need a jacket/cover up for this dress. I've no idea where to start. Any suggestions welcome please 🙏

What’s the occasion? My first thought was a sleek black fake pony skin jacket 😊

Depending on the occasion/time of year I would go for a jacket to go with your (very beautiful) dress. Lots to choose from here!

My wedding in January, so I can afford to be a bit extra. It's not what I originally planned to wear but fem in love with it today and couldn't resist, it's beautiful isn't it!

I’d go for a really nice biker jacket personally.

DanielleandBobby · 02/11/2023 15:43

@Moirarosesgarden totally agree with you on this one. It’s stunning! 😍
@PenelopePlant Hope you have a lovely wedding day. How exciting!

I don't have a jacket recommendation but I stopped to say wow this dress is gorgeous!

PenelopePlant · 02/11/2023 15:54

This is fab, thank you!

Oooh, gorgeous - definitely a vote for faux fur from me too!

agree 1000%. love the sleeve detail.
and you look stunning in it.

if you don't mind, how tall are you? I'm trying to gauge where the hem would land on me

PenelopePlant · 02/11/2023 17:58

@Myfabby I'm 5'4!

These are the shoes I'm wearing in the picture, I think I'm going to buy them but I'm not 100% sure yet..

Not keen on the shoes OP. They are quite chunky and severe for a floaty delicate dress like that.

If you want a closed, pointy toe I'd suggest a sling back with a slim heel personally

I was thinking this myself, the heel is too chunky.. the colour is a perfect match though

Full or midi length faux fur or fur-trimmed Afghan, or cloak.

What about these?

I would ask Jigsaw itself for advice.

They tried to get me to buy the gold sandals I originally tried on, they weren't right for me though

If it’s for your wedding presumably you are just looking for something to keep you warmer as you arrive and leave the venue rather than something to wear indoors?

I’d go for a dramatic full length velvet dress coat. Something like this
