Shiny satin blouse for work?

What are your thoughts on these satin blouses? Is the pink too ‘in your face’ for work?

And worn tucked into a skirt or untucked over trousers? Thanks!

I’ve just bought the green one and taupe one for work. Planning to wear them with wide leg trousers.

I didn’t consider the pink one as I don’t have the colouring for it - but if it suits you, go for it 🙂

Very nice! The green looks a different colour. Is it nice?

I didn’t see the taupe one. Is that like a beige colour?

I like the colours but I find satin rather too shiny and sweaty for me. That's only my personal opinion. Bought a deep green from Zara and sent it back.

It looks like a cream gold - it’s my favourite of the two

I think it would be absolutely fine. If it’s been sold by Hawes and Curtis then it’s a safe bet for professional/office wear.

I’d go for a full tuck or a French tuck myself.

Oooh I like the sound of that. What did you pair it with?

I’m wearing it with black wide leg trousers from M&S.

I’d love them to do a rose gold or powder blue one - I keep checking back for new colours regularly.

already have the navy (gorgeous and always get compliments, but it’s the cuff link version which is a faff) and the red (too Christmassy so only worn it once).

I’ve just found a navy hawes and curtis satin blouse in my local charity shop. It has the double cuff that you mention so was put off by it a bit. Also the collar was huge, like 70s style. Is that the same as yours? I can see why it gets compliments x

If I had one of these blouses I think I’d also pair it with wide legged trousers or a pencil skirt. A pinafore dress would be another option.
