I've been a bit uninspired by clothes shopping lately. I like Uniqlo and Zara though find them a bit plain. Seasalt is ok though I find the shape of their clothes a bit wrong - slightly smocky.

I'm late 50s, apple shape size 16 and am looking for some tunic style dresses. A nice print would be good. I like an architect style if that makes sense. I can see in my head what I'm after but don't see it in the shops!

Monki ? They do some crazy prints in a shirt dress style

Hmm … We’re a similar age but very different styles; I can’t really imagine a tunic I’d wear! However - are Uniqlo and Zara your budget limit or might you pay more for the ideal thing? Do you shop online, and would you consider pre-owned sites? I can imagine Vestiaire might be a good source for interesting tunic dresses.

Or possibly something from

Klements

(They have a sale at the moment.)

More generally YBD is fantastic for showcasing new or less familiar brands.

@Ghostpumpkin going into winter would you look for something like a long line chunky jumper with wide leg trousers or leggings ( I mean thicker leggings like the M&S jegging type or faux suede )
As pp says Monki are good for tunic dresses.
Tunic style dresses have you tried Fatface or Whitestuff or Joules?
