DD wants to buy her 2 best friends perfume for their 13th birthdays next month. Any suggestions? Something light I guess. Budget £25-30 each.

Next perfumes are good dupes if you don't want branded and obviously will cost alot less.

Ah! Hadn’t thought of Next. I used to wear a perfume from next as a slightly older teen.

I can’t get out to smell any of them in time. Any recommendations?

Sol de Janeiro, big amongst teens at the moment, smells gorgeous on my DD15, couple of different scents, check out SpaceNK

L'Occitane make nice light ones - often have offer on at Christmas with three different scents in a gift box. My daughter loves them

Sarah Jessica Parker - Lovely

I love Jessica Parker lovely too. It smells just like Narciso Rodriguez (black bottle) which is my favourite, but I wanted a lighter (and cheaper) version for work. My 15 year old loves it too. B&m often do gift sets for around £20

@Jewelspun I used to wear JLO Glow and Britney Spears Fantasy when I was a teen.

@GCWorkNightmare The Victoria's Secret sprays are popular with my teen, she's also liked the Ariana Grande perfumes, particularly Thank you, next and the blue round one, think it's a tropical type scent.

I love Ariana Grande Cloud and I'm 30 and a lover of Chanel, Hermes and Chloè. It's my every day one and I get compliments on it a lot!

Zara do great dupes, they last and project really well and are reasonably priced

As someone said, the Sol de Janerio body spray is what the teens are going mad for. Not quite a perfume but apparently very long lasting. Often called "bum bum spray"

Teen dd likes Just Pink from next, Vanilla body spray from Victoria secrets (they usually go on offer for Black Friday).
She is currently wearing Brittany Spears Fantasy.
