The perfect 'neutral' eyeshadow

I'm on a quest for the perfect 'neutral' eyeshadow. I'm cool toned and have blue eyes. Ideally I would like a non shimmery brown that leans more towards grey than coppery if that makes sense. I don't want glitter or sparkle just a really lovely shaded that will enhance my eyes. Anyone got a 'go to' they can recommend? thanks

It is shimmery enough to blend like a dream but I wouldn’t say it’s glittery.

Just repurchased UD Tease, it’s matte with heathery undertone.

I just got some Merit Solo eyeshadow and I love it - the lightest shade!

Bobbi Brown taupe or cement. Alternatively if you like a cream eyeshadow the Trinny ones are good. Wisdom and justice are my most used shades.
