Fake pearls

Hello style gurus, long time lurker here, looking for some advice...

I want a long pearl rope necklace, one I can loop 2 or 3 times. I am quite happy with a fake one, so long as it's reasonable quality, ie knotted between beads etc. on the other hand I'm also wondering about the cost of buying a real one - I'd like 7/8mm pearls, but realistically that's going to be a grand isn't it? I am think more in the budget of £100ish!

Any thoughts/ advice/ whatever? Thanks in advance 😘

Rope of real pearls, knotted. I just can’t see the size of the pearls but worth a look.

I have bought loads of beautiful real pearls but I think the odd one or two strands I have are fake, I use real as I like the organic shapes & rondelles, some are dyed but real, For natural not dyed there more expensive but hunt around, I'm hoping to make wedding head pieces with pears & real gemstones well what ever is needed, earrings etc. I like to use zircon, clear quartz & clear topaz with pearls, ruby's , sapphire, opals & Any gem available for myself or person asks for . Real is my preferred gemstone & silver, & gold in future or request. Have a good day all.

Bloody hell I had no idea the price of pearls. I mean I knew old, natural sea pearls are expensive but cultured, freshwater!
