Hi all,
I'm having balayage done tomorrow, it's my first time having it coloured professionally. It's naturally a dark blonde colour, but in the summer I dyed it a level 6/7 light ash brown at home. It's now faded a lot but it looks bright orange in the sun, it's really unflattering and no amount of blue shampoo has helped.
I'm very pale with cool toned skin which has a lot of redness/pinkness in it, dark cool-toned eyebrows, and blue eyes.
I'm wanting something like the below pictures, but I'm conflicted on which undertone is the most flattering for my complexion. The hairdresser mentioned that ashy hair can tend to look quite dull and might wash me out - is this true? Should I go for more golden? I'm really struggling to find pictures of people with my kind of complexion, a lot of pictures of women with light ash brown balayage have darker complexions and brown eyes, so I'm not sure if it would suit me
