Please can anyone recommend a website that sells good quality merino wool clothes? I saw one recommended on here ages ago and I cannot find the thread. Preferably one that does men's clothes as well as women's. Many thanks in advance!

Johnstons of Elgin, v expensive though

Depending on your budget, I think Uniqlo merino is pretty decent for the price (much better than their lambs wool and cashmere in my opinion). But if you can afford it or find it second hand, I'd go for John Smedley. Both sell men's and women's.

There is a John Smedley factory outlet online with better prices. But Uniqlo is pretty good.

I’ve found that the M&S merino wool jumpers and cardigans are really good quality.

As other have said, Uniqlo merino is incredible value. I have several of their jumpers and even though I machine wash them they still look like new after 3-4years of wear.

Woollovers is where you need to look. Fair prices and good quality

Moredarkchocolateplease · 30/10/2023 13:17

J crew if you don't mind ordering from the US.

The M&S merino jumpers are awful. Neckline too high, quite thin and holes appeared around the shoulders and label after a few wears.

They are poor quality, hence cheap.
