Only ones I can find are frumpy, with slogans, busy prints and fall to bits.

@Fr00tL00ps
Found the link, they’re expensive and may not be to your taste, they didn’t work for me but they’re well made in pure cotton.

Got a couple of pairs in the Seasalt sale last year which are lovely. Not so keen on this years prints though.

Whats this? The word police? I love the word frumpy! I get a lovely visual image on my mind of frumpiness, anyone can look frumpy or feel frumpy

Ffran · 04/11/2023 22:55

These are mens but you cant really tell when you wear them, great quality but a word of warning, buy lee valley pj’s from an English shop if you buy direct from Ireland all sorts of costs are incurred..

I've looked for a few years for some good ones. I've got a very particular list of needs but don't feel they're outrageous or even unusual!

Thinnish cotton dark colour navy, green, black or charcoal for eg, top like a long sleeve t shirt, not low necked so I don't get a cold chest, matching leggings type bottoms with a cuff at the bottom so I don't catch my foot in them. Preferably not immediately obvious they are pyjamas when I (inevitably) open the door to a postman.

Is that really hard?

warriorofhopelessness · 04/11/2023 23:10

Hush have got some lovely thick pjs at the moment, really well made and warm.

PuppyMcPupFace · 04/11/2023 23:17

Zara, surprisingly

I don't get the love for cyberjammies at all. I spent over £100 on two pairs last winter after some recommendations. They felt lovely for 5 minutes but after a few months wear, they were only fit for the bin - the fabric went really bobbly and they developed patches that wore so thin on the back they were almost see-through. Absolute rip off, considering the price.

MonikerBing · 05/11/2023 07:30

I've just got some gap men's ones from Next - they're 100% cotton. Like others I prefer mens as they have pockets and are thicker/more flattering, and I prefer check to a more garish pattern.

DaveWatts · 05/11/2023 07:32

Toast - pricey but good quality and nice designs. I have the double cotton ones and they're super soft and comfortable.

Zara worked for me. I'd checked online and knew they had them in stock but they weren't on display, so if you check before you visit you can ask them to check the stockroom. It's a puzzle to me why they don't put everything out, they have room.

declutteringmymind · 05/11/2023 14:48

Just came on to say Zara home.

I think some of them look good but know that they are not pure cotton so will almost inevitably go bobbly. I never buy anything but cotton now - and not organic because it doesn't wear so well.

I've just bought both of these, 100% cotton....

The striped ones look perfect, how generous are the sizes please? I don't like my PJ`s skimpy!

mantlepiece · 05/11/2023 18:11

I buy cyberjammies and love them.
however, I like them with a silky finish rather than T-shirt or flannel finish.
mine have washed well and haven’t shrunk or gone bobbly. I have 3 sets.

QueenBitch666 · 05/11/2023 18:40

I bought a set of super soft pjs from Peacocks. They're so comfortable

NannaKaren · 07/11/2023 07:15

“Frumpy” is a great sounding word - in my opinion, lol!
I knew exactly what was meant by it and it’s only referring to pjs for goodness sake 🙈
…sigh
ps I bought some “ lovely “ (can I say that) black with white piping pjs from Tesco, ages ago - cotton, soft - I’m hoping they still sell them !

Yawn www.love yawn.com
Soft cotton, expensive but keep their quality even when washed and washed.
