Wool Coat With Hood

I'm looking for a black wool coat with a hood. I don't want it to be boxy, slightly fitted at waist and mid thigh length. Any suggestions?

I've not seen any on the high street, but I have seen beautiful ones on Etsy. I have no sellers to recommend, just type it in. Unfortunately they come from China normally, but from places where they are made to order and measure, and get very good reviews.

I'm covering a red one.

I’ve been looking for this for years. Not been successful. Only hooded wool coats tend to be Paddington duffel coats. Really wish someone would make a quality, smart wool coat like you described.

Thanks @PurpleSaturday . However, what I've been looking for is buttoned rather than wrap with either no belt or a structured belt rather than a soft belt. And about mid-thigh length. Nipped in at the waist and then flared out.

I can picture the perfect coat in my head, but just can't see it in the shops!

@Theblacksheepandme it says merino wool in the description. This is one I have on my save list, they have lots of other lengths/ styles I believe

Keep an eye on Cos, I have one of this exact description but from about 7 years ago. They often do wool coats with hoods I think
