Hi everyone,
Hoping for some recommendations for a jacket I can wear for country walks this winter. We're talking 2-3 hour Sunday walks rather than massive hikes and we are in the UK so no crazy temperatures. I'm a fair weather walker so probably doesn't need to be fully waterproof, but water repellent / shower proof would be great.
Budget of roughly £100, although would stretch to £150 for a good quality, long lasting one. I like puffer / parka styles, don't want a long coat and would prefer one with no branding. Ideally something I can wear to the supermarket without looking too outdoorsy and like I'm about to hike Ben Nevis, if that makes sense.
I like the look of the Uniqlo ultralight down parka but worried it won't be warm enough (though perhaps great for autumn / spring!). Also considering this one from M&S, or this one from Mountain Warehouse.
Thank you in advance!
