Halara cord trousers

I love the look of the halara cord trousers but don't want to buy from halara for lots of reasons. Has anyone seen the same style elsewhere? I can find lots of bootcut cords but they are what I want. Help please!

I think Halara blatantly copies other designers work along with the other issues of fast fashion.

Hi op, I actually posted pretty much the exact same thing 2 weeks ago, I had to double check the username because I thought it was my thread 🤣
I'd never heard of Halara and actually ended up ordering some of those cords...wish I hadn't and they're going back. I bought the navy and berry in XS and Small. They're comfy enough but sizing completely inconsistent.

I ended up buying the M&S navy cord ones linked above and they're lovely.

Benetton velvet cord chinos!! They are more ££s (£59) but they are fantastic, have elasticated waist and cuffed at ankle. I circled them for weeks because of price but so pleased with them

Yeah, I want to avoid halara for reasons above and including human rights and worker rights issues. I don't buy from temu or shein for the same reasons.

It's a shame because I love some of the stuff on the website! Including the tennis dress with shorts.

Ugh I LOVE the Benetton ones, beautiful colours! @Jinxjacobs did you size down like they advise? They don't seem to do an 18 but if I size down the 16 is available...

@ChainBastard I usually wear an 18 for waist and the 16 works out fine-and elasticated waist def helps! They really are lovely, l wore to a gig last week with a t-shirt and my docs and felt good!

A friend just bought these and said you need to be very tall as they are super long. It is as a waste of money as the returns process isn't worth the hassle.

Oh! Those Benetton cords look perfect - the sizing is S, M, L when I look rather than dress sizes. I’d usually get a 12 trousers, does anyone have any ideas what I’d order? I looked at the model’s measurements and she’s in S and her waist is about 23 inches, so L for me? My actual waist is 29”.

Fabric is terrible on them. 100% polyestery corduroy does not work!

Hush do some cord “joggers” that are lovely, more like a trouser than a jogger

@Jinxjacobs can you tell me what the inside leg measurement is for the Benetton ones. They are gorgeous and I can't find the info on the website. It just gives generic sizing not specific to that particular item. Thanks

@SparkyBlue Hey sorry for delay but the inside leg is 25.5 inches, I'm 5ft7 (and a bit😊) and they come to the top of my 6-hole dr martens, which is ideal because they're cuffed.
