I want a silver bangle that is oval shaped so it fits neatly on the wrist (rather than a big circle). I want a smooth push clasp, rather than a clip/ chain. I really like the Monica Vinader Essential Bangle but can’t help but £195 is a lot and you are paying got the name.

Can anyone recommend any other similar bangles?

Look on Etsy. Support artisan jewellery makers. It’s not at all the same style but I have worn one every single day for about 15-20 years and it’s perfect.

I don’t think you’re paying for the name. It’s a heavy bangle with a complicated push clasp and hinge, which is difficult to manufacture. You will get a silver bangle for under £100 but it will be solid, it won’t have expensive details like the clasp and hinge.

Maybe have a look at independent jewellery makers. I have a beautiful shiny beaten silver, solid bangle from an independent jewellery maker. It was expensive but it's absolutely gorgeous and I'll be wearing it forever
