Under eye darkness

Help please ladies who know about this stuff. I am clueless.
I'm 48 and seemingly overnight have now got constant dark 'bruising' type colours under my eyes. My eyes now look, permanently, like they would if I'd had a heavy drinking night/4 minutes sleep. I know I'm supposed to think that I'm privileged to be aging, but I don't like it!

So, at this stage I can still use concealer and it looks kind of ok.

But are there any recommended creams to help lessen the darkness please?

Honestly the only thing that helps mine are tear trough fillers, they last about 8 months!

Oooh thank you. I've never heard of that. Off to google x

I find ground coffee mixed with aloe Vera and left under the eye for 30 mins to an hour really helps with the puffiness. For dark circles Catrice undereye brightener is a miracle product.

Your pricture does not show dark bags. If anything it's the shadow due to the slight dip. it's shape thing not a colour thing.

It will be way more noticeable to you then anyone else.

Why not invest in some nice eye liner and eye shadow and beautiful lipstick to draw people's attention to them instead.

Thank you everyone.

I especially need to remember this 'It will be way more noticeable to you then anyone else'. You are spot on, thank you.

I had fillers. Worth every penny. I'm mixed race and dark pigmentation runs in the family.

@arethereanyleftatall
this was before and after the first time I had them done. I’ve had two more since and am due another now. Like I said before, it lasts about 8 months on me. If you click on the photo you can see the whole thing.

Is that the tear trough fillers that HashBrowm mentioned?

They look awesome, and exactly what I need, thank you. I will research locally.

Yes so they apply filler to the top of the cheeks and it pads the area out. I also had nctf which helps with discolouring but I wasn't that impressed with the results for the price.
