Dupe for Chanel Coromandel?

I've come to terms with spending that much on perfume because I absolutely love it. But before I buy it I thought I'd check in case anyone had come across a very very good dupe?

Well given no one replied I took that as a sign so now you all owe me £350 for the bottle I bought yesterday!

Well I checked Fragrantica and interestingly there isn't a single perfume that people feel is similar! So that might be your answer- enjoy!

I reckon they all work for Chanel!!

Ive never found a perfume dupe for it...it is the perfect Winter smell so enjoy

It's absolutely amazing. I work for a company which is very involved in beauty promotions, and my colleague has a bottle of it on her desk. I can honestly say I've never smelled anything like it.

If I had to describe it, I'd say it's a very warm, clean, oriental type smell - you can definitely smell patchouli, but it's very subtle...it's an under note rather than the main scent.

Unfortunately, at £350 a bottle I won't be buying it unless I win the lottery but I'm definitely googling for a dupe which is how I found this thread!

I'm almost sure that Divain do a dupe of Coromandel and their dupes are usually pretty good in my experience. However I'm in the EU as are Divain, and I'm not sure if they deliver to the UK or not.

Interesting they call it an “ambery “ scent. That’s because perfume houses have stopped using the maybe more evocative term “ oriental” to describe fragrances, in case it causes offence ( even though no one has ever complained about that term).

Try Harrods Beauty, John Lewis, Harvey Nichols. It's part of their Les Exclusifs range.

I ordered the 651 from Divane and it came today.

I've never smelt the original before, but this one is LOVELY.

Snap. This thread inspired me to try the Divain version, it’s really nice and lasts for hours. I haven’t tried the original though so don’t know how similar it is, but would have happily bought this in its own right.

I got the Divain version because of this thread. I haven’t smelled the original but 651 is lovely.

I also got 093 which is a dupe for Lancôme La vie est belle. I have the original (almost gone) and this one is an excellent dupe.

It is gorgeous. Sorry, I don't know of any dupes.
