Which top for a smart(ish) work event

I have an event coming up at work soon, it’s an evening one, sit down dinner etc. Dress code is smart casual although most people (especially the women) tend to just go smart. I was planning on wearing a slip skirt and nice shirt. I’ve found a couple I like from sezane but can’t decide if the abelia option, which I prefer, is a bit low cut. Can I have your thoughts please:

I think the first is a more elegant shape (I love the shoulders) and more formal. You could pin it if the top opens too easily, but I don't think it is too low. That's the one I'd wear to a business dinner.

I think the talli looks a lower cut than the abelia. Both are lovely tops but I think you need to be quite flat chested particularly for the talli otherwise they wouldn’t be particularly appropriate for work.

I’d wear the abelia with a vest top or cami underneath to ensure that if it did slip or gape I wasn’t flashing my bra to my colleagues

I love the Abelia in green!

The other one isn't formal enough.

Definitely the abelia

I have the abelia in a floral print and wore it to a casual work event with jeans and a cami underneath. Definitely size down!

Now I want someplace to go to wear the Abelia in green.

Thanks everyone. I’ve been looking at the abelia for ages now so think I’ll take the plunge now that I actually have something to wear it for
