Black trainers

If you were buying black trainers to wear mainly with wide leg trousers as part of a casual outfit what would you go for?

I’ve attached a few I like but not sure which are most wearable. Open to other suggestions too if you’ve seen something nice.

I love my Adidas Samba trainers. I would definitely go with this look over the New Balance.

Bought them after seeing this pic. The vegan ones have grey detailing on the toe which I prefer to the all black look.

Your option 3 as I think they look much better with a white or pale sole like in the above pics

Definitely the adidas. You can get those with a white sole if that's what you prefer.

I would always choose converse!

I dislike white soles so no 3 is the only one I don't like. I can't see the makes of the others but I'm buying (online John Lewis) a Gola dark blue/navy ones that looks similar to your photo number 2.

I like the adidas but agree I like a lighter sole. Also like Nike waffles as almost a mash up of the two styles you suggest.

Either pair of Adidas, the sambas look lovely with a wide leg trousers. I have both pairs of the Adidas ones and love them. The handball spezial are slightly more comfortable as not as flat as the sambas.

Think I am swaying towards the Adidas. I have Converse on the go already but just want to be able to mix it up.

Those Nikes are nice too actually but think the Adidas just swing it.

I don’t hate the darker sole but would probably need to see them in person I think to decide over the white sole.

The adidas are also very comfortable imo.
