Non-aersol dry shampoo?

Can anyone recommend a good dry shampoo that is not an aerosol?

I suffer from really greasy roots and have found the best thing that really helps is a spray of Batiste dry shampoo on freshly washed hair, gets me through the day without my hair getting too oily.

I'm going on a trip next month and it's hand luggage only so I can't take an aerosol can of dry shampoo through airport security. I don't fancy spending a couple of hours each day washing and drying my hair. Any suggestions for good alternatives?

Talc/baby powder. Does the same job as dry shampoo and it's cheaper. If anything I find talc works better on my hair.

Holland and Barrett do a powder one.

Yes,Holland and Barrett. It smells really nice too and there’s one for blonde or brunette hair

Boots do a travel mini batiste, can go in your liquids or buy after security. Or do a click and collect order for all your toiletries for after security. That’s what I do when I’m travelling light. Just don’t buy too much as you can’t get it back

Have a look on Amazon for Drop Dead Gorgeous dry shampoo powder

Thanks you! I'll check out the Holland and Barrett one.

Bumble and bumble Prét-à-powder

LuckOfTheDrawer · 22/10/2023 20:32

I was going to say the Bumble and bumble Prêt à powder one too. I really like it.

blarm · 22/10/2023 20:32

You can do an order to the boots in your departure airport

I just use the travel mini batiste. Can go in liquids bag in hand luggage.

Invisimamma · 22/10/2023 20:42

I thought aerosols were not allowed in hand luggage, but just checked and they are allowed under 100mls so I can take a travel sized can. Thank you Mumsnet!

Didn’t like the Bumble one, now trying Lush. Some good new suggestions here!
