Teeth whitening - Enlighten vs Polanight

I've previously had at-home teeth whitening from the dentist using Enlighten teeth whitening gels, which are seen as the premium whitening system. It has worked really well and I have topped up once 2 years ago and now want another top up gel.

The dentist who did my whitening is further away from where I live and will also charge for the appointment to check that my trays still fit, plus the cost of the whitening gel.

Whereas my current dentist is 5 minutes down the road and will check my trays for free and just charge for the gel, but she uses the Polasmiles Polanight system.

Both are 16% gels, but Englighten seems to be seen as the gold standard.

Anyone had experience with Polanight or with both? What has your experience been?

I had mine done about 5 years ago now and I think it was around the £500 mark, which included the moulds of your teeth, 2 gels for home, and then one in-office session. The newest system is now 3 gels and all done at home, I believe. I definitely recommend it as the gels last for ages so you'll have plenty left over to use as a top-up.

I've only used polanight. It was brilliant, no sensitivity and my teeth came out lovely and white.

I've used completely different brands of gel (first lot from the dentist that took the moulds etc, second lot from my new dentist). First was Optident (a long time ago - 10 years or so?) More recently I've used a brand the name of which I can't remember. Both lots have worked perfectly, and we're pretty much the same 🤷‍♀️
