Blonde/Very light brown box dyes

I have been box dying my hair with L’Oréal box dye for about 15 years but over 50% of my hair is grey now, I feel it’s time to go lighter. I can’t afford a professional job so has anyone got any recommendations? My main concern is I don’t want one that goes red/gingery after a few washes. I’ve noticed this on people that use the box dyes.

Forgot to say that I use mid to dark browns at the moment but am finding it too aging and as I have a lot of grey hair, I think lighter would be better.

You'd have to strip the colour from your hair first to go lighter as a box dye will not lighten darker hair.

Try using ColourB4 to strip your hair dye out first

the new box dye by L’Oréal is really good. It’s called Casting Natural Gloss

Another one I recommend is Garnier Olia. I prefer box dyes with no ammonia
