Blazers for work?

Help, I need a bit of inspiration. I want to get a couple of new blazers or jackets for work. I am quite fussy though - tailored with a collar (not boxy) and single breasted. Happy with wool, tweed or cotton.

Any suggestions? Spent all day trawling round shops and everything was either cheap material (even if the shop was not) or collarless which just doesn't suit me. And the ones I did like hung badly on the hangers and on me.

Where have you looked - and what’s your budget?

Phase Eight
Hobbs
M&S
Next
French Connection
Reiss

Anywhere up to and around the £150 mark maybe a bit more for a keeper.

One of my best blazers came from H&M! And some of the Mango ones look nice online but not sure if they would stand up to scrutiny?

Might be worth checking out Brand Alley for blazers. I always google the item to see if there are any reviews on another website.

Also, would it be worth holding on a little longer for Black Friday? Shop Style is good for setting up sales alerts.

My best blazer is from Reiss, just bought another one from there. Slightly above your budget but excellent quality and good durability

Have you thought about TM Lewin etc?they don't seem to stock their Womenswear in store any more, only online.

I've had decent blazers from Zara before. I would also try Massimo Dutti for less suity options.

John Lewis have some lovely single breasted for about £100. Mint Velvet also around the £150 mark.
