Back smoothing vest

I've a very squidgy torso. Even at my skinniest, a properly fitting, comfortable bra leaves a line that can be seen through a form fitting top. I bought a lovely dress that fits really nicely but the bra strap is obvious, which I don't like. I've looked at a few smoothing slips/vests but they give me a monoboob. Any I've tried with a low front, cut below the bust sit funny on me. Have a missed a solution?

Search for ‘wear your own bra’ shapewear. M&S do brilliant options either as a slip with a ‘skirt’ for under dresses or legs like short knickers for under trousers. I wear the dress style under pretty much everything - perfect for smoothing the back as well as waist/tummy.

Sorry if those are what you meant by the low cut ones, but they work well for me and lift my boobs slightly as a bonus.

Thanks. I haven't tried the m&s one but similar from another shop and it just sits weirdly. Maybe I'll try m&s.
