Silver 'theme' night

Conference season is upon us in my industry and every single event has a different theme for gala night! I have one in two weeks time that I've just found out is silver themed - so I need your help!

I'm 50, 5'4 size 18 - not normally a silver wearer! Like a nice wrap dress or jumpsuit, pleated skirts suit me.

Really don't want to spend much as I'll probably never wear it again, but equally prefer not to buy shein type brands. Ideally high street prices. For anyone else id suggest just going with silver jewellery but I can't wear jewellery as I have contact urticaria, so that's a no go.

M&S silver sequin t-shirt?

I'm not sure the skirt would suit me, I feel I'm too short and fat! I actually quite like the H&M wrap dress but I don't think I'd wear it again, but could be an option.
The event is formal so don't think the t shirt would work, I can't think how I'd dress it?

@Sundayroast27 that's exactly the style that suits me but only goes up to a 16 unfortunately. Given me a good idea of what I like though thank you!

That blazer is nice. I like silver (don’t wear it a lot) but feel I’d wear this more than my black sequin tux blazer.

I think it errs on the right side of formal with your other choices with it.

@GonnaGetGoingReturns I generally like a blazer and I can see me wearing this with jeans, trainers and a white t shirt for things like work Xmas drinks. Might order and see how I feel.

You could try vinted if you don't mind preloved ... I have had some lovely worn once bargains

@Sundayroast27 just spotted it thank you. I really like it but the reviews are awful, but might see if I can see it in a shop and decide. I'm away with work Monday to Wednesday then go on holiday next Saturday, home for three days then flying out to the conference so struggling for time to shop 😫

I lurve that blazer. I think it's fabulous and very eatable for something so bling.

I also liked the silver pleated skirts. Looks like you have a couple of options. Order to try on and send back whatever doesn't work.
