i want (i want i want )...

not too big

a proper change section or a firm zip

no stoopid clasps

i don't care about price, by and large, my birthday's coming up so dh will cough up grateful that he didn't have to find one himself.

i was looking at this, it's quite jolly. i enjoy a jolly accessory.

the exotic one, hoxton? quite jolly but i think i prefer orla, all told.

they are a bit orange aren't they. Maybe it's to match with the fake tan of those who buy them

saggers · 08/03/2008 22:35

It's not leather - it's like a spacey sort of plastic stuff. I think the white one looks nice too.

hoxtonchick · 08/03/2008 22:35

i meant the blue one when you scroll along. comes in many glorious colours.

breadgirl · 08/03/2008 22:38

Oh, the zippy wallet is 5 items down. I have a friend who has one and when i saw it i thought it was so practical and no fiddly bits. She has the monogram style, but i prefer the epi leather.

saggers · 08/03/2008 22:40

I like hoxtonchick's suggestion - but it's $148. That seems a lot.

Aitch · 08/03/2008 22:54

the veau foulonne one? hmmm. i take it that it costs more because it's baby cow? Lol. like i care.
actually i like the white MD one. but i think i still (rather pathetically) like the OP one best. why is that so wrong? it's so cheery.

it's about 70 innit, or so? dh would LOVE that because it would absolve him of any responsibility to get anything else.

i LOVE a scarlet purse. practical as well as jazzy. what i really want is a glow-in-the-dark one that will respond to the command 'accio' like in harry potter. anything to stop me rooting about in my capacious bag.

i love getting new wallets but am also quite fussy. do like Oral Keily (have v.nice make up bag)

what about any of the ones on red direct?

Sibble · 10/03/2008 05:46

Mrs JC, check out Minnie Cooper, NZ designer, I looked at her website earlier as I bought my last purse with her from her Auckland store, has lasted 5 years.+.. No purses on website but bags etc gallore. Soft leather and well worth the cost.

FloraPosteschild · 10/03/2008 06:42

Aitch this bugged me for years. I finally found one reduced in Accessorize - it was suede, with a zipped bit and a card bit, nice and compact, and has been brilliant. Nothing pops open and you can stuff it quite nicely

MrsJohnCusack · 10/03/2008 08:12

ooooh I shall do Sibble thanks
have a newish green leather wallet from Milleni whoever they may be but I am always in the markte for another

althoug perhaps not from Oral Keily (am I allowed to chortle at my own typo?)

Aitch · 10/03/2008 10:46

that reddirect site looks v promising but it's SO SLOW. will also look in accessorise, thanks flora.

What about this Aitchdrool and if your dh is feeling generous, this is a great deal on the same site handbag collection

CountessDracula · 10/03/2008 11:55

Go to tkmaxx
I amvery fussy I got a great one, they have a billioin

claireybee · 10/03/2008 11:58

I got a good one (that fulfils all your criteria although not very jolly) from M&S-it was only £8 too so your dh could treat you to lots of other lovely goodies too!

Aitch · 10/03/2008 12:09

i do want jolly, though. that's one of my criteria.
cd i've been looking in tkmaxx for a year. it's where i got my old beloved furla one and the mandarina duck one. they haven't had decent purses in our local store for aaaages.
i do like the aspinall one but i worry it's a bit elegant for my overstuffing habit.
