Wrinkly ankles - why?

I know there are many more important things to worry about, but I noticed in a photo yesterday I have big creases around my ankles 😱. I am 54. I am trying to lose weight but I don't think my ankles are fat enough for this to be the cause. To me they look like ankles belonging to someone much older.

Is this normal at this age? Is there anything I can do to make it stop?!

I know wearing a heeled shoe would help make it less obvious, but I don't wear heels!

They look like perfectly normal ankles for an adult human

They just look normal to me. Nothing to see, move on... 🙂

It's age. Look around you. It happens to everyone.

Still coming to terms with this aging business! Seems to happen kind of suddenly after 53!

None of the others in the pic had it...
