Are Stripe and Stare worth it?

I'm on the cusp on replacing my underwear - black and white thongs.

Stripe and Stare claim to be super-soft and comfortable but is this just marketing hype?

Are they worth it?

No!

It is true that they are supersoft and comfortable but they are also badly made and the elastic goes very quickly.

Hmm. Thanks. They are SO expensive - I'll do more research and try elsewhere.

Thank you again for replying.

I started buying them last year after getting a freebie pair, haven't had problems with the elastic. Where the lace is a different colour from the body of the pants it's gone a bit dingy but overall they've stayed pretty good.
One thing I would say is I recently ordered a few more pairs and the sizing was inconsistent - some were way bigger than the others so had to be returned.
But they are lovely and soft and comfortable. Come up big though.
There are various 20% codes out there which are good when combined with the "buy 3" deal.

I love them not any issues with wear

Agree found poor quality which quickly faded and not super comfortable after a few wears. Wouldn’t buy from again.

Friedtofuandbeans · 24/10/2023 07:16

i don’t think they’re worth it either - they’re nice but the in the white ones the lace faded quickly (my daughter had some) and went grey, and they lost their shape. Not worth the money which is a shame as liked the ethos.

Onthelongroad · 24/10/2023 08:38

I’ve had several pairs for at least a year now and really like them - they are way comfier than any other pants I have and haven’t worn significantly. I’d buy from them again.

No. Mine went all saggy and grey fast. I have 10yo M&S pants which look better than the Stripe and Stare did at 6months old.
And they kept sliding off me. Most annoying.

Very comfy but they do look old and grey (even the brightly coloured ones) quickly.

I absolutely love this brand I just bought 6 new pairs of underwear and a bra top I’ve purchased before and mine have lasted so well just throwing them in the wash. I’ve had them over 3 years and they’re still fine. And yes they’re so comfortable and soft feels like you’re wearing nothing which I love. I also bought my daughter a gift voucher for last Christmas and she loves hers too.

I find them really comfy - never have that pants-going-up-yer-bum problem when I wear them. Don't like wearing anything else now.

I haven't had any problem with fading but I do follow the instructions and always wash at 30º.
