Please help me pack for my city break?

Going to Spain for a city break. Temperature is saying it's 20 degrees, mix of cloud and sun.

I'm literally staying two nights, with two evenings, though the second evening I'll probably have to wear what I've worn out all day as won't go back to the hotel. First night I'll check in then get ready and go out for dinner.

Activities will be a mix of sightseeing, museums, lunch and dinner with friends.

I'm planning on wearing my Veja Ventura trainers in neutral and pink as much as possible but can pack something else for the first night. I have chunky ankle boots, black fishermen sandals, and smarter white and gold sneakers available.

Please can you help me plan a capsule wardrobe and pack please?

For sightseeing, I'd wear leggings with the vejas, a nice tank top and a sweatshirt/hoodie that you can either put in a bag/backpack or tie around your waist if you get too warm. First night I'd wear a dress and any of the other footwear options you've mentioned, even if the vejas would go with the dress I'd prefer to change just to give my feet a break from the one pair of shoes. I love dresses as they're comfortable and you don't have to match them with anything else! Obviously if you're not into dresses you could bring a pair of smart trousers (I love leather skinnies or straight leg) with a nice shirt and either the boots or white& gold sneakers.

Maybe if you say what options you have, we could advise better?

Either way, it sounds like heaven and I hope you have a great time!

That's a helpful article, thank you!

I don't tend to carry a bag so prefer trousers and dresses with pickers, rather than leggings.

Items I have include multiple jeans in straight and wide leg (dark, black, light blue and ivory)
Multiple blazers in black, cream, pale pink, neutral, navy
Oversized shirts in assorted colours and some with stripes
Slip skirt in forest green
Sweatshirts and jumpers etc

So can you break it down by outfit needs:
Travel day: jeans, t-shirt, cardigan or blazer with trainers
First evening dinner: skirt with sandals and nicer top or light jumper, it might be cool at night.
Second day sightseeing: cream coloured jeans, sleeveless top with overshirt or blazer, you can wear your fisherman sandals, then change shoes before flight home. I wouldn't worry about light coloured jeans to fly home, you can always change at the airport back into the same jeans you came in.

It should fit into a carry-on, with your sleepwear, lingerie and cosmetics.

Great ideas, thanks!
