A stylish waterproof coat

Can anyone recommend a stylish waterproof coat please? I’m a short size 12/14 and rather well endowed in the boob department. Have tried Seasalt petite but the sleeves are far too long and if they fit around my boobs then the rest is too big.

Just had a Protected Species coat delivered but I don’t like the high neck on it and it doesn’t quite fit properly.

I’d prefer mid thigh/knee length and budget is up to £200.

Try Paul Smith. Can find new without tags on various sites.

I’m in the same boat. I am a 12/14 apart from the boobs which are now making everything I own too small in the chest.

No ideas sorry, I just had to change a beloved Joules jacket for a 16 instead of a 12 and it still only just does up. Infuriating. I wasn’t blessed with boobs until I BF and now perimenopause has blown them up again!

I’ll follow with interest.

I've just ordered these 2 and I'm not sure how I'm going to choose between them as they are both lovely,
Motion Longline Parka
Zara Multiway Waxed Jacket

😫I'm going to have to sell other clothes on Vinted as the 2 of these are just too good to choose between I think

I think they will be floor length on the OP, they would be on 5ft 3 and a bit me anyway. Definitely not mid thigh-knee.

Redissuereader · 18/10/2023 10:59

I'm 5ft 4 and they are calf length on me

Thank you for the suggestions so far. I’m only 5ft tall so think both the long coats will drown me.

Ideally I want something that is smart enough to wear on the odd occasions when I have to travel for work but won’t look too out of place when I go for a lunchtime walk or pop to the shops. Appreciating this may not exist!

Ooh thanks @Just2peasinapod the first Joules one is a bit too casual but I like the second one. I also like the Elmfield so a couple of possibilities there.

Rains? They have different styles, lengths and colours so worth a look.

I’ve just ordered one from Rains @ChilliPB so thank you for the recommendation.

I have the sweaty betty motion long line one in pink and love it. Although think i need to re-coat it as it's not that waterproof anymore. I am 5ft3 and needed to get it shortened.
