I'm 46 and my hair is dreadful. It used to be shiny and silky and hamg straight when long.

Now, it's dull abd dry and wavy/frizzy But not nice wavy.

I have hypothyroidism too, which I don't think helps. Itchy scalp so have to use either head ad shoulders or t gel shampoo.

Please can someone recommend a conditioner/mask/treatment that will help?

Hi,

have you thought about HRT? HRT has really helped with my peri hair.

Or, if you don’t like that idea, take a look at your hair and style and use products for how your hair is now, not how it used to be.

I have similar my hair is like a grey KenDodd. I lost a load of my hair last year through illness and the new growth is very wavy. I’m glad to have regrowth so I’m embracing the wavy☺️ . Recently -as in the last 2 weeks -did a couple of Olaplex treatments. 0+3 then shampoo +conditioner. Made a huge difference, feels much thicker

Buy a plastic shampoo head massager, they're under a tenner. They stimulate and exfoliate your scalp. It's like having your hair washed at a salon. Always use a shampoo that has 'moisturising' on it
That's what my hairdresser suggested
