Stylish, warm, shower proof winter coat

Hi

I love my wool coats but I need something more practical for the school run, walking to shops etc.

Would like something warm enough for colder weather, that’s shower proof. So probably a Parka or puffer but everything I’m seeing is so unflattering!

I know Didriksons are recommended on here a lot but they don’t look good to me in terms of style.

My non puffer, non wool, non formal coat is 25 years old. I've got coats for every possible occasion and weather condition but apparently not for something coming up next week so this should now give me a full set. I got the "lizard" colour.

Oska coat

I'd need to see the lizard coat. It doesn't look very nice on the web site but does on the model moving around.

I wear this in the rain when it's cold. It's not a heavy coat at all and is roomy if you wear layers underneath, it's not as smart as some of these but it looks good on and I wear it to work quite happily.

It moves around well and the colour is nicer than on the website. And it's not a puffer coat.

It was out of desperation as I needed a coat which wasn't wool and I'd (almost) rather freeze to death than wear a puffer coat.

Ah! good. Black isn't great online. It reminded me a bit of Rundholz.
I'll admit to having a puffer but it's been in the charity shop bag for weeks. It definitely wasn't stylish or beautiful.
