Vinted postage payment question

I'm a new seller on Vinted (or will be). I wanted to list a whole bunch of things for a low price but I'm wary of the postage costs adding up as I'm struggling financially this month (a lot, as in barely eating).

So I want to check before listing lots of items, does the postage come out of the buyer's payment or do I pay the postage myself?

It appeared that if you print using Evri, it is deducted from the seller's payment, is this correct? Or do I need to pay up front? I just don't want to build up a huge amount of postage fees that are difficult to cover. Thanks for any help.

Postage always paid by seller when they purchase 😊 I believe if you have Royal Mail option enabled though, you pay and send vinted your receipt once you've been to the post office. I have that option turned off though, less hassle!

Buyers pay postage separately to the item.

So if you list an item for £5 and someone buys it, you get the full £5 and then they pay for a postage label.

If you don't want to pay postage up front then it's really important to ensure royal mail is turned off in your settings>postage otherwise you would have to pay up front.

All other carriers (evri, inpost,yodel) you get sent a postage label to either print off or use digitally so it doesn't come put of your profits.

I mean buyer! Gosh that doesn't make sense my post haha apologies. The buyer pays when they purchase

My advice would be to disable the royal mail option.
And let them pre pay evri etc

The buyer pays the postage separately. Just make sure you disable any options that are inconvenient for you. Evri seems to be the default.

I have a disability and I Don't think there is a way royal mail can come collect my orders I'm selling , I Live in the OUTSKIRTS Of Plymouth UK , the only delivery place near me is ROYAL MAIL. I Cannot drive and i cannot walk to the post office because of my illnesses , I'm really upset vinted doesn't allow ME to pay for postage instead of buyer , I would need it collected from home and would be ALOT Easier if it at least gave an option.

Check online asi have been able to get Royal Mail to collect from me?
