Dermaplaining - how often?

I have bought a dermaplaining razor. How often should I do it? And how often should I replace it?

This suggests replacing every 3-4 uses and doing it every 1-3 weeks.
I guess it depends on how quickly your peach fuzz grows back. I haven’t been brave enough to try yet, but have been watching a lady on TikTok who is doing it. I have blades saved in my basket unsure on whether to bite the bullet or if I’ll end up slicing a chunk out of my cheek!

Thank you! It's actually easier than I thought. I watched you tube

I find it easy and quick. I do it bout once a week

SoEffingGrumpy · 19/10/2023 22:51

@PinkRoses1245 whats the regrowth like? I mean is it obvious in a ‘oh wow, she needs to shave’ kind of way?

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 19/10/2023 22:51

I do it every Sunday, new blade each time.

SoEffingGrumpy · 19/10/2023 23:14

How do you find the regrowth @Judystilldreamsofhorses ? I’m worried about starting it and regretting it.

Saverage · 20/10/2023 08:25

I do it every 10 days or so, new blade after every couple of times. I do get some prickly regrowth on chin - I either pluck those when long enough or get electrolysis every now and again. It's helpful to remove the long fluff so it's obvious which are the thicker ones which need electrolysis when they start growing back.

thanks for this info. It’s helped me make my mind up to not do it, I get stressed enough about having to pluck the odd thick one from my upper lip between waxing!

Hmmm, it's quite helpful really. You can feel the sharp ends then just pluck them all at once after a couple of days when long enough (if not doing electrolysis). I don't have huge amounts of them though.
