Help me with trainers please!

What trainers are "in" right now?

I'm not sporty at all. Tend to wear brands like Boden, Seasalt, Fatface, Next. Looking for good quality smart trainers for every day wear, perhaps high tops now it's autumn?

Bought Veja trainers over the summer and they've got holes in soles already!

Would love suggestions please!

just to say that I would contact the retailer re your vejas, surely they are still under warranty! I just replaced my two year old vejas with the same model, my old ones are still fine, no wholes, rips just look a bit tired and I wear them to work (office).
in summer I bought On trainers for running but find them too cool to run in them 😂 so they are my new casual shoes.
I also have Kiln (JL) fashion trainers but they are no near as comfy as Veja or On.

I was just coming on here to ask the same thing! I know my Stan Smiths are sadly old school these days and they're getting pretty old but I don't know what to go for next. I tried Flower Mountain but the pair I got looked ridiculous on me, I don't know if it was just the style though...

I love my Vejas, have them in a couple of different colourways and no holes in mine! I’ve got some black and white Jordan’s for a more sporty look and most recently some beige and white dunks… the adidas spezial are nice and not too sporty

the adidas gazelles are popular at the moment I have a beige pair but tempted with these sage ones too!

Everyone under 30 round here is in battered looking Nike Air Force One

Mum age people bit more variety, lots of Vejas and other white plimsoll style still, Hoffs, or running trainers like Hoka or Asics. A few New Balance. I wear New Balance 574 and will be sticking with them whether fashionable or not as they are so comfy (and I buy kids ones for cheap)

Where I live every women is wearing on cloudswift and converse both are so comfy and I love both

I have Adidas Gazelles, love them. My much younger work colleagues comment on them (I'm in my 50's)

I live in converse. The white canvas ones do get quite grubby looking so maybe go for a darker colour. I have them in navy. I also have the faux leather style ones in ivory with gold detailing. They look a bit smarter than just the standard ones. Vans are also quite popular just now.

I’m so tempted to get them too… couple of issues are:
a)I have vejas in a similar colourway, sage and white so there’s not really a gap in my wardrobe for them
b) I have my brother AND my sisters birthday to buy for at the end of the month. Plus my eldest dd turns 13 in a weeks time. Plus we’re off to haven for half term which is £££
