Recommend a long puffer to me

Looking at long puffers, the one at new look looks nice but suspicious of the quality

Haven't bought a winter coat in 7 years (superdry parka) so really need a new one

The best long puffer coats I have ever bought came from Lands End. I needed something long and warm for my commute, as it was very cold and windy at the bus stop in the winter.

I've got an ankle length Superdry puffa and it's amazing in the cold, like wearing a sleeping bag!

My best friend has the superdry ankle length puffa jacket and never stops raving about how brilliant it is. It looks very flattering on too.

I got a long puffer from New Look last year - it was a reasonable price and has been fine. The only drawback is the zip which is a bit too cheap and plastic and needs careful coaxing to work. I'll be surprised if that zip lasts another winter

I have a superdry long puffer which I love. I’ve also had nice puffers from Zara in the past but the zips never last long

Matalan is massively underrated for stuff like this IMO .

I got a really nice, really cheap one from Next two years ago.

Keeps me warm and dry when walking the dog and washes well.

@GettingStuffed ooh I love that coat. I love the colour, not seen one in that kind of purple before. I may have to order as I’m in need of a new winter coat

Uniqlo seamless down puffer, the short is actually mid thigh on me but they do longer versions too. So warm!

I bought this one from River Island. It's the first puffer I've ever owned and I love it! The belt makes it v flattering

@RedRobyn2021 it's really nice in real life . Looks way more expensive than it was and it's fitted . I buy Loads of stuff from Matalan as there are some little gems in there !

I have a Uniqlo seamless down one and a rather expensive Sweaty Betty one that I got with my birthday discount. TBH I wear the Uniqlo one much more as it’s just sleeker and neater, and very plain so goes with everything. It’s also very water resistant and comes in a few colours

@floofbag what's Matalan's sizing like? I'm thinking of ordering one.

@floofbag matalan are known for their big sizes. So I recommend sizing down

I'm a size 8-10 and got an 8... I'd say this isn't as big as normal Matalan stuff . It's quite fitted but I'm hourglass if that helps
