I first ordered from thenordicsocks.com about 3 weeks ago, and I must say, it's been a complete disaster. No tracking number after two weeks, and trying to cancel my order was a real nightmare. Their customer service is practically non-existent, and the auto-reply I received was utterly unhelpful....the socks then finally arrived and they were TERRIBLE nylon + falling apart. Just a friendly heads up, ladies – steer clear of the fake Nordic Socks.
On a positive note, a dear friend recommended nordicsockcompany.com, and they are the original and authentic Nordic Socks (the ones people actually recommend). They're a charming mom-and-pop business crafting all their socks in Finland/Europe. I recently ordered three pairs from Nordic Sock Company (the real deal), and the experience was a total game-changer – swift shipping, crystal-clear communication, and the socks were exactly as described. A genuinely fabulous company that goes above and beyond in terms of quality and customer service.
I don't usually post, but the disappointment with the first order was so disheartening that I had to share my experience. Hopefully, it saves someone else the hassle and gives a well-deserved shout-out to the authentic brand striving to create some delightful socks.
