Long sleeve running top

Please can I have recommendations for a long sleeve running top for the colder days? Don't want to spend a load of money but if it's good quality will consider up to £40. Thank you 😊

Decathlon! They have lovely fleece lined ones with thumb holes for very cold days, and nice thinner ones with mesh, also with thumb holes for days when you just need to keep the wind off. They all wash well

Second Decathlon. My tops from there are on their 4th year of use.

sportsshoes.com and Proviz have some good offers on branded long sleeved tops at the moment (I got some Ronhill long sleeved tops at £12.99 each and they're lovely), and Sportpursuit often has some excellent bargains.

Try Wiggle. The issue is that you will get hot so balance it with something breathable. I wore a merino vest under a very thin long sleeved top last winter. Worked well. Both from Wiggle.

Sweaty Betty Fast Track running jacket is brilliant. It is so lightweight and breathable I use it as a top with nothing under in spring and autumn and as a jacket layer in winter. It has sleeves you can pull your hands into, with thumb holes, and a hood hidden in the collar.

It was pricey but mine is good as new after countless washes. Obviously I don't know your size but a quick look at eBay shows a second hand one for £35.

As an alternative, you could get arm warmers. I find them useful because you can roll them down or take them off completely once you have warmed up.

I also use arm warmers. I do like to be on the cool side when I’m running though so I like the option to take them off as they crunch up small into a pocket.

Have you tried Under Armour cold gear?
