Comfy lounge bra?

Bluedande · 11/10/2023 20:24

I’m looking for a comfortable bra to lounge around in. I hate being bra less, breastfeeding and weight loss has not been kind to my chest but I’d prefer something less restrictive when at home. At least I’d feel comfortable to answer the door! Any recommendations? Im a 34F.

This Reign bralette is great www.reign-studio.com/collections/bralette-sets/products/conna-fuller-bust-bralette-top

I love Molke

Chamomileteaplease · 11/10/2023 20:43

@RedRobyn2021 does the flexifit keep boobs separate? It does look nice. I find there are lots of bralette type things around but you just end up with boobs squashed together. Once your boobs are over a certain size it makes finding something suitable much harder.

Anyone got any non-monoboob suggestions? 😀

WanderingWitches · 11/10/2023 20:45

Molke

Bluedande · 11/10/2023 21:13

Thank you, roll on the comfort 😁. Any thoughts on Molke sizing?

Yes, I haven't had the boob sweats when walking the dog and the nipples are well positioned I think 😂

Fedupwitheveryone · 11/10/2023 21:18

the flexfit comes in underwired and non-wired. the non does squish the boobs together a bit, the wired is a lot more comfortable than normal wired bras. i have both. would say the straps are too long on the wired so i prefer the non-wired. Definitely worth trying though OP - i'm same size as you

Sloggi bralets are super comfy and they have a fab sale on at the moment.

Another vote for the M&S Flexifit unwired. I used to always wear wired bras to support my 36D knockers, but started to find them too uncomfortable. Too many bralets don't give adequate support and make me look shapeless and droopy. The Flexfits are really supportive, firm but still comfortable.

Chamomileteaplease · 12/10/2023 14:26

@RedRobyn2021 thank you for that detail 😂.

@Slidingsocks exactly what I wanted to know. I am off to M&S this weekend then. thank you.

Sometimes I think those will neat little A and B cups don't realise the kind of support biggers cups need. And the advertising pictures can very misleading.

The flexifit crop top I linked above doesn't give me a monoboob - it has sort of built in cups. I am only a C-cup though, so I don't know how it would work for larger sizes.

This is the best one I’ve ever worn, hideously expensive but so unbelievably comfy and supportive. I’m a 34G for reference.

JacquelinePot · 12/10/2023 20:19

I bought this and loved it so much I bought 3 more. The navy is a little more snug than the cream, so I tend to wear those in the daytime and the cream ones to bed.

I have one of these as my “house bra” ( want something comfy but maybe not entirely appropriate to not wear anything sort of scenario e.g. friends staying for the weekend). I wear a 32D and the small is generous on me. https://tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/product/tuc140789146

I've fallen in love with these non-wired bras, they give me a nice supported shape under clothes and I find them extremely comfy. The only slight gripe I have is that they aren't very good under clothes that show more cleavage or have a wide space between shoulders, then the bras edges definitely show. I also wish they were a tad cheaper but I do love them, I've probably bought over half a dozen of them in the last few years.

John Lewis’ “Anya” is super comfortable. I take the pads out.

I have the M&S flexifit too. It's so comfortable and total fine to pop to the shops in unlike some of the bras I've had for wearing around the house. Doesn't keep your boobs separate though, that's the only downside. I'm a 34G.

I'm wearing one now and, yes, it does keep them separate.

Oh gaaaah their minimal bamboo triangle bra is just what I’ve been looking for… except they’ve printed “Lounge” all over it!! Why??

Bearpawk · 12/10/2023 23:14

I find the m'M&S flexifit chest band a little loose, doesn't give enough support. Same with the uniqlo ones.

Sloggi are good and I'm going to try the John Lewis mentioned upthread. My fave are sainsburys crop tops, surprisingly supportive
