Smart winter coat

I'm looking for a smart, traditional winter coat. I'm thinking dark grey wool. Has anyone seen any good quality coats along these lines please?

Whoops, I forgot to put budget. I think that's actually my problem. I'm happy to pay up to £400-500 for the right coat if the quality is good. I just don't know where to look for that sort of price point.

Jaegar are nice.

Hobbs Tilda is great if you want slimline, and it's well within your budget at around 300.
Jigsaw also had some good options for another hundred or so more.

But neither do grey - this isn't a good year for grey.

Me and em has grey. For beautiful coats (although I haven’t seen grey) Jigsaw is great.

If you could stretch it to £600 you could get Max Mara.

Max Mara really do coats like no one else.

Izzy Lane coats are excellent quality.

Reiss have a couple of dark grey options (they call it charcoal). Agree jigsaw does lovely coats but no grey this year.

The maxmara tweed is lovely but I so want a coat with a waist.
My advice OP would be to check for lining as I got a fab looking Brora one a couple of years ago but was unlined and bloody useless in wind.
