I keep seeing this, both on TV and 'in the wild' - and, it seems, every time I order a pair online.
I'm a fairly standard leg length and I buy trousers in regular length. Usually they're just right, but so many pairs I've tried this year have been trailing on the floor - there's no way I could walk in them without tripping over/treading on the hems. I'm pretty good at taking hems up, but it's a pain and I've sent quite a few pairs back because of this.
I get that some styles are probably meant to be worn with heels, but with fewer women wearing heels now it feels strange for so many trousers to be too long to be worn with flats.
On the flip side, I keep seeing trousers/jeans that are shorter than full length but not short enough to be obviously meant as a cropped style, i.e. they just look too short in the leg for no apparent reason. It just seems like trouser lengths are all over the place atm! 😁
Is it just me?
