Cream eyeshadow (preferably stick)

As a gift for my mum I'm looking for lovely cream eyeshadows, preferably in stick form, that are easy to apply and blend. I personally like the AYU shadow sticks (have 4 of them) but she's tried them and says they're not 'soft' enough (in texture) she's really looking for something creamy. Can anyone recommend please!

Bobbi Brown are good and currently doing a christmas set of 5 with a mascara.

Laura Mercier cream eye shadow sticks are gorgeous, but spenny.

Cheaper alternatives are Elf (but the shade range is a bit peculiar) and Kiko Milano (huge range, just swerve the very glittery ones).

I love them for a super-quick wash of colour when I'm in a hurry.

Hourglass voyeur. I’ve just discovered it and it’s brilliant! It’s a propellor stick and comes in a range of lovely muted colours. Just glides on. Perfect for slightly older eyes where the skin is more delicate

I was going to suggest AYU and I also have 4 but I know what she means, they could be a bit softer so I'm here for recommendations!

Here to mention the Victoria Beckham ones - don't get them unless she wants them to set really quickly

Bobbi Brown or Laura Mercier. I find Elf too hard.

Kilo Milano are excellent and long lasting, pretty sure they are the exact same as Bobbi brown only way cheaper, been using them for a few years and no compliants

You can get mini sizes of the Laura Mercier ones for less, and they're great for her to see if she likes the texture and colour. Space NK has a great set of 3 minis for £30, here: https://www.spacenk.com/uk/makeup/eyes/eyeshadow/cosmic-stars-caviar-stick-trio-UK200039600.html (the Amethyst is really nice!) The sticks do last a really long time, even with daily use, so I think the Laura Mercier are worth it.

LM are my faves, great shades, some subtle and some strong, easy to manipulate and don't drag the eyelid. I also sometimes use them as a base for similarly coloured powder eyeshadows.

Hourglass and by Terry are great but pricey, Rare Beauty is pretty good and a bit cheaper but I find them a bit drier than LM.

ELF actually has some great cheap ones but they are often sold out in shops, and the variety of colours is limited (and some are very bright, which may or may not be your DM's thing.)

Kiko Milano are very good, esp if you can try them in person. If you have access to Beauty Pie, theirs are amazing but really frequently sold out in the best shades.

Effortlessly apply eyeshadow with the Laura Mercier Cosmic Stars Caviar Stick Trio, a limited-edition set of three cream eyeshadow sticks.
