Ankle boots

I need a new pair of ankle boots but am finding it tricky. I’m quite petite with thin ankles but don’t have the smallest of feet relative to my size. I look ridiculous in anything with a chunky sole which seems to be most boots atm. I’ve found Chelsea boots have worked well before but there aren’t that many around & it would be nice to find a different style rather than just buying a slightly different version of the same ones again. Any ideas would be very welcome (budget of up to £100, possibly a little more for the right boot!)
