What are those funny looking plaster things that the MAFS women put on their faces?

I just want to know as they seem quite popular for under the eye/on the upper cheekbone. Do they lift or smooth or what?
None of the chaps seem to notice them either, maybe they share them around or something?

I think it's to reduce under eye puffiness
