Sezane romeo bag

Can anyone tell me whether the sezane bags are good quality and will go the distance. I chose and got a bag last Christmas but hasn't lasted the year without the leather dye running out. Also wanted a bigger bag to put a book and water plus more in.

I really like this bag but would be annoyed if it didn't go the distance! This is definitely more my style than a higher fashion bag.

Any thoughts/experiences?

Can I suggest that you contact the brand if the dye is running out after around ten months.

yumscrummy · 08/10/2023 14:29

Thanks. Yes I have done and await a response.

I’m not sure about Sezane as I was eyeing up their Farrow bag but in the end went with a brand called Paris64 and it’s the best quality, most beautiful bag I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned (and since sold) bags from Mulberry, Loewe, Chloe etc.

Maybe have a look at their website, they have a style called Windsor that’s similar to the one you’ve linked, but they are a little more expensive. The little extra touches are worth it though, especially the beautiful lining.

Yeah the Windsor is the type that I'm looking for. Thanks

The smooth leather scratches like hell! I have a Victor and despite taking good care of it it looks really bad after two years. I had had smooth leather bags before so I knew some scratching was expected, but I feel this is on another level.

Thanks, that's helpful to know.

Sezane is such a good idea, I didn't think of them - APC are an obvious look too with that budget - but similar leathers to Sezane? I have found this brand called Honey and Toast which seems cute and quite cheap too (5% off first purchase etc! xx
