Peach fuzz

How does one remove it? Is it a shaving job? Will I end up with a full dark glossy pirate beard if I shave it?

I have quite sensitive skin prone to outbreaks so don't want to wax or slather with Veet.

All help grateful received!

Dermaplane. Which is basically shaving. It's not going to make your facial hair grow back thicker.

Thanks - do you get it done at a salon or is this kind of thing effective at home?

I shave my face with similar, but the cheaper plastic ones. Absolutely does not grow back thicker or darker, and makes makeup go on much more smoothly. I think a proper dermaplane at a beauty salon would be better as the shave they do will exfoliate your skin too, but the razors you can use at home are fine for peach fuzz. It also doesn’t grown back prickly, I can never feel it growing back.

Dermaplaning/shaving would last about 8 hours on me.

I get all my peach fuzz threaded off every 4 weeks or so. So my entire face is threaded. It's worse than childbirth the first few times (esp the sideburns) but the softness and smoothness is like nothing else. Make up goes on fantastically.

Epilate?

Labtastic · 06/10/2023 20:08

Ok I'm going to try the razoring at home 😬 Glad to hear it doesn't grow back with thick stubble as I feared!

I think if I epilated my face would be scarlet - it's way too sensitive.

Dermaplane at home with a plastic blade thingy. So satisfying and leavs face really smooth

I have a sensitive face too - threading my upper lip resulted in bleeding and then pus 🤢 Veet gives me chemical burns.

I shave with a facial razor and it doesn’t grow back spiky or thicker. Like a PP said, it gives a better foundation for makeup. I do it every Sunday. It takes 5 minutes and every time I am astonished how much fizz comes off. It’s like shaving a lamb!
