Has anyone bought one yet!? I'm very tempted as I love the look of the khaki one but would like to hear from anyone who's got one already before investing!

I’ve just ordered the charcoal one as it was £81 instead of £135. I love my oodie and it looks so snug!

Parakeetamol · 13/10/2023 08:09

I'm saying no because they are shapeless sacks (I have one for inside but for family eyes only) but I think when I'm standing in the windy queue outside the school gates I might kick myself.

chachachachangesoolala · 13/10/2023 10:25

I love my original Oodie but this one is confusing me. Is it meant to be worn for walks outside like a coat? I don't understand!

TinaYouFatLard · 13/10/2023 10:26

Mine is due to arrive today! I’ll check back in and let you know what it’s like.

TinaYouFatLard · 13/10/2023 17:41

Okay, it’s arrived! I do really like it. It’s not as thick as I was expecting. The lining isn’t as deep as an indoor Oodie which is good as I get too hot in mine. Im not sure how waterproof it’s going to be. I think for me it will be purely a sport-watching garment as I feel like a blimp in it. Having said that I got the S/M size and it isn’t as roomy as I was expecting. Overall I would recommend but only if you don’t want to look in any way stylish or chic and you have the £ to spare.

Do you think you would like it more if it was bigger? I'm on the fence and can't decide whether to try a S/M or XL? I normally wear a 10? 🙏🏻

Itsjustmeee · 13/10/2023 18:35

I have a dry robe that’s much better if you want something waterproof but Oodie like

LikeABanana · 13/10/2023 18:37

I keep looking at things like this but I don't wanna look like I'm wearing a duvet outside.

TinaYouFatLard · 13/10/2023 19:28

@bananabreadbatshit i think the XL is probably the way to go. I usually wear a 10 too and it does feel snug (in Oodie terms - it’s certainly not tight!)

I think in XL it will be obvious you’re wearing an Oodie type thing whereas mine looks a little bit like a fogey coat! I’m not sure how much layering I can fit under it without it feeling restrictive. I think I’m XL you could throw it on over a lighter jacket or gilet and be really cosy.

Amazing. Thanks so much!

I know this thread is a few weeks old but I've just ordered an outdoor Oodie and I'm intrigued what's everyone's experiences now you've presumably had time to properly try them out? Are they cosy in the cold weather? Hoping so!

CremeDeSudo · 13/11/2024 09:43

Any more reviews on these? They've got 50% off everything atm and seriously tempted by the coats!

henlake7 · 13/11/2024 09:47

I was put off by the reviews saying they were much more poorly made then the indoor versions...not sure how accurate the reviews were but there were quite alot of them!

recyclemeagain · 13/11/2024 14:29

I bought mine last year and it has lasted very well to be honest. I wear if on chilly days and can't wait for the proper cold weather to start again so I can wear it all over again. It's so cosy and definitely feels like wearing a big cosy blanket out and about. So very comfortable and washes well too. Only tiny issue with quality was a stitch on one of the pockets but that was definitely my fault trying to put too much stuff in the pocket when I was in a rush. Go for it, it's lovely!

Blurple123 · 14/11/2024 14:40

I cannot find my winter coat anywhere, so I'm tempted to get one whilst the sale is on. I'm a 16/18, can anyone who has one help with sizing? Would a L/XL be the way to go?

recyclemeagain · 14/11/2024 16:22

@Blurple123 I was a size 14/16 when I bought mine and it's a size S/M and fitted great. They are big made so you'd be fine in S/M I'm sure if you want a slim fit but the L/XL would give space for layering if you prefer. Wishing I'd worn mine today, it's freezing!
