Pocket square help please

My ds has his school formal tomorrow. His tie came with a pocket square for his suit pocket. I have no idea what to do with it. I’ve googled and there’s so many different ways to do it - what is best for a 17 year old (who has never worn a suit in his life)! Thank you.

Or maybe don’t use it at all? I have no idea and he’s happy with whatever I decide (doesn’t care).
