Big Foot Boot recommendations

My heart sinks at the thought, but I desperately need new boots this winter. I'm an EU size 43 or 44, depending on brand, and I'm really struggling to find something I like.

I'm after two pairs of ankle boots - something chunkier, flat, maybe biker style that I can wear with skirts, dresses and (shock!) skinny jeans, and then something a bit more elegant, with a modest heel that I can wear to work with trousers that won't cripple me if I'm on my feet all day. Both pairs black, though I'm open to other colours as long as they're classic enough to go with LOTS of other things.

I used to be able to get something decent from Clarks, but they've massively cut their range in bigger sizes.

Next have some nice ones, but I've been underwhelmed with the quality in recent years.

Where else can I look?

Would Shoezone have anything. Im a 43 they hard to get. I get odd thing in yours clothing size 9s

I'm a 9/43 and have a lot of trouble finding shoes. Try https://www.after8shoes.co.uk/ as they sell nothing but large sizes. Long tall Sally too, but I doubt the quality is any better than Next.

I’m an Eu44 and absolutely hated shoe shopping until they launched. They fit true to size, come in some interesting colours and styles (I just bought a pair of gold boots and I’m in love with them! And service is really good.

Country boots? For riding, but smart enough for what you want. Lots of brands, normally do wide fit as well if your are a little sturdy in the calf department (like me)

New look always surprise me with their boots and shoes and go up to 43-consistently good. Asda also astonished this year when I struggled everywhere for brown ballet flats in a 42 and they have big sizes.

Fitflop go up to a proper 43 in quite a wide range. They've got new stock in including ankle boots.
