Looking for some inspiration please x

Hi, looking for your views and suggestions please. I have a big birthday approaching in November (50) and I'm looking for inspiration for something to wear. Hoping to wear the same outfit to a day/night out celebrating with friends and then to a house party (my sister is hosting for me at her house). Maximum budget about £100. Thinking something that makes me feel a bit special but that I could wear again (maybe at Christmas). I'm 5'5 ish and reasonably slim.
Saw a pair of berry coloured leather ankle grazer trousers (not real leather) with paperbag waist which I thought I could dress up with a glam top and shoes which I can ditch and go barefoot at party!! Or should I go for a dress..... just really no idea and looking to you lovely mums netters for some inspiration please x

There’s this (below). Also some much more exciting things on the same site that are over budget but probably worth it.

You may well hate this but all the dresses on here are in your budget. They could all be worn day into evening and reappear at Christmas. They could all be worn with flats, heels or barefeet.

Gruelle's top won't work unless it could be tucked in and I'm not sure about the colour. I think you need something slim fitting on top, either black or white or cream. On your feet either a delicate heel, low or high, to contrast with the masculine, semi military style or go with the full on military look and Doc type boots.

A dress might be easier as you'd have a £100 on one item and those trousers are not perhaps the easiest to style.

What about Cos?

Most of their dresses are just under or just over £100. They look and feel much more expensive than they are.
