Absorbent Bath Robe?

AnSionnachGlic · 01/10/2023 17:57

Looking for a cotton, towelling bath robe, that I can throw on after my shower, rather than rubbing myself down with a towel! I don't mind spending a bit if it is absorbant, washes well and lasts! Any recommendations please?

I've got a white company hydro cotton robe and it's absolutely lovely

AnSionnachGlic · 01/10/2023 19:36

I must check that one out. Does it wash well?

Cashmere Cardigans, I just checked out your recommendation......it's 110€!! I'll have to see if I can track down a discount code! But it looks just what I'm looking for.

The white company one is the shizzle

@AnSionnachGlic so sorry I missed your reply. Yes it does wash well, Ive had mine well over a year and it looks as good as new. They are expensive, it's worth keeping an eye on the sale, just in case one comes up

@AnSionnachGlic I agree The White Company hydro cotton one; absolutely love mine and it washes beautifully.

The White Company one or Christy, if you’d like to spend a bit less.

Another vote for White Company. Ruddy expensive but they last really well. I had my last White Company robe for over 15 years before it was retired.

White Company. I’m fussy about dressing gowns. Theirs are perfect.

If you wanted left field, I have a linen one that isn't towelling, but is fantastic - washes and dried beautifully (and quickly), dries me, never gets stinky, and isn't bulky like a towelling robe

Papyrophile · 03/10/2023 15:38

Tekla make amazing towelling robes. But £££. I covet DS's.

Thank you for all recommendations. I've bitten the bullet and ordered the White Company Hydro Cotton one. Can't wait for it to arrive now🙂
