Like this, but cheaper? Twinset coat

Saw a lady wearing this coat tonight and she looked fantastic. Tracked it down online and it's £300! Bit steep for a short sleeve coat in my view - anyone seen anything similar but a bit cheaper?

I’m really struggling to understand why that coat is described as wool when the fabric is 100% polyester? I wondered if it might be a mistake - but all the ‘wool cloth’ coats in that section of the website are 100% polyester. It’s unreasonably annoying.

Oh boy, I hadn't noticed that! I'm even less inclined to spend £300 on a polyester short sleeved coat! I just really liked the sleeve detail, and it hung really nicely...

Useless in rain though your clothes underneath would get soaked.
I suspect 'wool cloth' is deliberate and disingenuous, a contraction of 'wool-like cloth' to make you think that it's wool or contains wool but then they can fall back on 'but we were using the word wool as an adjective not a noun'.

I'm now thinking of it as more of a long sleeved gilet than a short sleeved coat.

I don't get the purpose of a coat without full sleeves

So I think that coat is a knock off of a Max Mara coat which is £600 plus. Anyway can’t really see a dupe…. Even on Ali Express

I did find two capes around the £200 mark so not much cheaper. The second one made of cashmere though ( but I don’t know the brand).

Ohh thank you, I do like the cashmere one. Good thinking about searching for a cape - though I've just remembered I have a cape but I never wear it!
